Qualifications

Louis is a Board Certified General, plastic and hand surgeon (Added Qualifications for Surgery of the Hand). He is a member of the Chattanooga and Hamilton Country Medical Society, Tennessee Medical Association, American Medical Association, American College of Surgeons, American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Association of Hand Surgery, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. He is a graduate of Wheaton College where he received the Alumnus of the Year Award in 2002 for Distinguished Service to Society. In 1998 Louis received an honorary doctorate, Doctor of Humane Letters, from Crichton College in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2004, Louis received a "Citation for Excellence in Humanitarian Service" award from the Educational Foundation of the ASPS. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine where he was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha. (AOA). He interned and received his General Surgical training at Parkland Hospital and Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He also received a year of surgical training at the VA Hospital in Memphis and had six month fellowships in orthopaedics and also in urology at Methodist Hospital in Dallas. His plastic surgery training was at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.

Anne received her RN from Methodist Hospital in Memphis and has had many years or operating room experience while working at LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Egbe Hospital in Nigeria, and many hospitals around the world.
